The 4th grade performance of the Native American folktale Contest for the Sun is Thursday, March 14th!! Students are expected to wear a Park Hill t-shirt, jeans, and P.E. shoes. Performance times are as follows:
Rms. 206/208 @ 5:30pm (students need to report to classrooms at 5:15pm)
Rms. 210/211 @ 6:30pm (students need to report to classrooms at 6:15pm)

Welcome back, Park Hill Panthers! I hope everyone had a great summer. The energy in the building these first couple days as been electric!! Please continue to use this website and the Musicians of Park Hill School Facebook page for information on upcoming performances and pictures/video of student learning. Last week, Mr. Burdette and Mrs. Moylett inspired the Park Hill staff with this YouTube video and I wanted to pass it on to families. Get excited for an amazing and musical year, Park Hill!
Please join us for 4th grade's performance of the West African folktale Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People's Ear on Wednesday, May 2nd. Performers should wear Park Hill shirts, jean, and dance appropriate shoes.

Please join us for 5th grade's performance of the West African folktale Why The Sun and the Moon Live in the Sky on Wednesday, May 9th. Performers should wear as much black as possible and appropriate dance shoes (they will be receiving a colored sash to wear).

The 2nd Grade music/dance performance of The Straight Line Wonder by Mem Fox is almost here! Students are welcome to wear whatever wish, but please remember that they will be dancing and wearing the hat they created in art class. Please wear dance appropriate shoes and leggings if necessary.

Rms. 120 & 124 is February 28th @ 8:15am in the auditorium
Rms. 113 & 121 is March 1st @ 8:15am in the auditorium
On the morning of the performance, please have your student come to school ready in his/her costume or outfit of choice. Students are welcome to wear any costumes or accessories that match the theme of the story. Please wear dance appropriate shoes and leggings. After you drop your student off with his/her teacher at the first bell you can reserve your seat in the auditorium. We look forward to seeing you there!

The 1st Grade winter performance of All You Need for a Snowman by Alice Schertle is rapidly approaching! This year is extra special because of the collaboration among Music, Dance, and Spanish classes. The same evening is an Art show, book fair, and the Spaghetti Dinner! What an eventful night and we look forward to seeing you there!
Information for Performers:
Rms. 118 & 119 performance @ 5:30pm. Students need to meet in their classrooms at 5:15pm.
Rms. 216 & 218 performance @ 6:30pm. Students need to meet in their classrooms at 6:15pm.
What to Wear:
Performers should wear "winter" or "holiday" outfits that are comfortable to dance in. Please wear comfortable shoes that do not make sounds.
If you'd like to volunteer to loan props and/or volunteer your time to help decorate and take down the stage, please visit the sign-up genius.
