Welcome back to another fantastic year in the music classroom. I am very excited to start my second year at Park Hill Elementary School. I have enjoyed getting to know the Park Hill community, and I'm looking forward to developing even deeper relationships with my students and families this year.
Please check this website for information on upcoming performances, happenings in the music classroom, and pictures of your student's learning. As the school year approaches and I organize my hopes and goals for your student's musical education, I am highly inspired by a TED-Ed video I recently watched titled How Playing an Instrument Benefits Your Brain. I hope this video inspires you, as it has me. I look forward to a productive, musical, and inspiring 2017-2018 school year! ow.ly/SDkts TED-Ed link

Welcome back, Park Hill Panthers! I'm very excited to be your new music teacher. This is my 12th year teaching music in the Park Hill neighborhood. For the past 11 years I've been teaching general music and drama at Stedman Elementary School. I am an Orff certified teacher through the University of Northern Colorado, which means I will be teaching music in a way that is fun and natural for children.
Come check out the new music room!! Room 108!! I will update this site regularly regarding what's happening in music class, pictures and evidence of learning, updates on upcoming music events and performances, and fun music-making moments! Please feel free to email me through the contact tab. I'm looking forward to a fun and productive 2016-2017 school year! Musically yours, Mrs. McClelland (Mrs. M) |
